Ben  traveled as an evangelist from 1987-1994, then served as the assistant pastor of Goodsprings Full Gospel Church (GFGC) for five years. Then, in 1999, he became the senior pastor of GFGC and still serves in that capacity. Ben has shared his miracle testimony and preached in numerous churches, schools, conferences, youth camps, and retreats and has taken mission trips to Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Russia. Ben graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology.

Ben Godwin has been a guest on TV programs such as 100 Huntley Street, Atlanta Live, Lesea Live, and Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural. He writes a monthly religious column for the Daily Mountain Eagle newspaper, which is posted on Facebook and other online sites, and produces a weekly TV program called The Word Workshop.

Ben and his wife, Michelle, work as a team in ministry. They have three children and live near Birmingham, Alabama.
