
Ben and Michelle have been married since 1992. They work as a team in ministry. Michelle is a preacher’s daughter, pianist, organist, and singer. She has taught teen Sunday School classes and worked in youth ministry for over 30 years. She attended Lee University, taught kid’s and women’s art/Pinterest classes at Bevill State Community College, speaks and directs art projects at ladies’ conferences and youth retreats and is a devoted wife and mother.

Ben and Michelle have been blessed with three children: Nathan (and his wife Emma), Emily (and her husband Donnie), and Noah.
Nathan graduated from Sumiton Christian High School and Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, with two Bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees. He has taken mission trips to Honduras and Suriname, and educational tours of Israel, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Columbia. He works as a director of student housing and cafeteria facilities at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In 2019, He married Emma Latham, his high school sweetheart, a graduate of UAB, and a mechanical engineer at Southern Research. They live near Birmingham, Alabama.
Emily graduated from Sumiton Christian High School and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts, in Art with a Graphic Design emphasis, and a minor in business. She has taken a mission trip to Honduras and educational tours of England, Scotland, Israel, Alaska, Spain, and Italy. She is an administrative assistant at Sumiton Christian High School. She is married to Donnie Ruth, a service technician with Jeff Coat commercial heating & air.
Noah is a gifted musician who plays drums in our church. He also plays the piano and bass guitar. He is a sophomore at the University of Alabama where he is on the photography team which documents UA athletics and athletes. He also does freelance photography and videography.
